Jamil Al Wekhian
Dr. Jamil Al Wekhian is a scholar-practitioner specializing in conflict resolution, leadership development, and peacebuilding. With a Ph.D. in International Conflict Management (Kennesaw State University) and over 13 years of experience as a certified mediator and leadership coach, he helps individuals and organizations navigate interpersonal, cultural, and organizational challenges.
Currently a faculty member in the School of Peace and Conflict Studies at Kent State University, Dr. Al Wekhian has also taught at Kennesaw State University, the University of Missouri-Columbia, and Westminster College. His expertise bridges academic rigor and practical application.

Linda Haddadin
Linda Haddadin is a Child Care Consultant for the State of California’s Child Care and Development Division, where she shapes policy and program development. As an adjunct professor at Bakersfield College, she teaches Child Development, bridging theory and practice.
With a Master’s in Child Development (Specialization: Trauma Studies) and 21 years of experience in Head Start programs, Linda has deep expertise in early childhood education, trauma-informed care, and inclusive curriculum design.
Her work includes:
- Leading NAEYC-accredited programs for at-risk children and families.
- Developing child-centered curricula, including innovative loose-parts learning approaches.
- Coaching educators and mentoring parents of children with exceptional needs.
Linda balances her passion for advocacy with cooking, travel, and time with family.

Reem Alshehri
Reem Alshehri is a Certified Leadership Coach and Communication Specialist with international expertise in organizational development.
Reem combines her academic background—a MA in Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management (George Washington University) and a BA in Art Communications (Mount St. Mary’s University)—with proven cross-cultural leadership strategies to help professionals and organizations excel through effective communication and strategic relationship-building.

Jacquelyn Bleak
Jacquelyn Bleak is an Associate Lecturer in the School of Peace and Conflict Studies at Kent State University. She holds an MS in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University, where she specialized in gender and disability conflicts in the workplace, and a BA in Applied Conflict Management and Political Science (International Relations) from Kent State.
Jacquelyn worked with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) mediation program at the Keybridge Center for Mediation in Washington, D.C. She now develops mediation services for students at Kent State, where she is also pursuing a PhD in Cultural Foundations.
